The nearest left pitcher has been allowed to return to baseball, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone.
Chapman placed on coVID-19’s injury list on July 11, shortly after joining the club for summer camp, traveling from his home in the Miami area.
It’s not transparent when Chapman would be able to play in a major league game.
“I hope you pay for the catch and we’ll check to find out exactly where it is,” Boone said Friday afternoon.
During his absence from the club, Chapman, through his Instagram account, posted educational videos to his Manhattan department, where he was also able to falsify releases.
The Yankees’ right, Luis Cessa, who also tested positive for COVID-19, is running for the club’s pick in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
