2 arrested Seattle protests on Sunday

SEATTLE (AP) – Authorities say two other Americans were arrested and some police officers were injured Sunday after noon when a wide-ranging demonstration turned violent.

Police said protesters threw stones and bottles and that no less than one officer was taken to hospital. People also erupted through the windows of the East Precinct police station in the paintings of the city of Capitol Hill and a small fire began, the government said.

The Seattle Times reports that the eastern networks were the scene of several nights of violent clashes between police and protesters last month, leading the dep. to leave the compound building, which has become the epimídole of the “organized protest of the Capitol”, or CHOP.

The protesters had marched from Capitol Hill in the city. Several windows of the city were destroyed and the design of seattle Municipal Court was also shattered.

Protesters marched and shouted “There is no justice! There’s no peace, ” and they asked for investments from the Seattle Police Department.

The protests have taken full position over and over night in Seattle because of the May 5 murder of George Floyd through a Minneapolis police officer.
