33% agree that the COVID-19 vaccine “kills a lot of people”

Nearly a quarter of those vaccinated oppose COVID-19 and a third agree with a medical expert’s condemnation that the vaccine is deadly.

Rasmussen Reports’ most recent national telephone and online survey shows that 24% of U. S. adults who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are vaccinated against the virus. Seventeen percent (17 percent) have a lot of confidence in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, 37 percent say they have some confidence, 25 percent have a lot of confidence, and 18 percent have no confidence in the medical and pharmaceutical industries at all. .

Among those who have won at least one vaccine dose, more Republicans (39%) than Democrats (14%) or unaffiliated (26%) are getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Democrats (70%) are more likely than Republicans (38%) or unaffiliated (52%) to have at least some confidence in the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

Republicans (53%) are more likely than Democrats (18%) or unaffiliated (29%) to agree with at least Dr. McCullough’s statement: “The vaccine is killing people, and it’s killing a lot of people. “

Older Americans are more likely to have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Only 8 percent (8%) of people 65 and older have not received the vaccine, compared to 21 percent of Americans ages 40 to 64 and older and 37 percent of younger adults. 40.
