A renaissance for Bragg Stadium is a renaissance for Southern Tallahassee Review

On Thursday, July 9, several members of the Florida A-M University leadership team and I to the Board of Directors of the Intergovernmental Intellectual Planes Agency, our plans for the rebirth of Bragg Memorial Stadium.

Your unanimous vote in favor of proceeding with mandatory due diligence to assist our $10 million application demonstrates FAMU’s wonderful faith and acclaim as one of The key economic drivers of Tallahassee, a valuable cultural resource and primary painting assets in the south of the city.

During the big years of the block, Bragg Stadium has hosted football matches, launch ceremonies, concerts and other moments when they reveled in the arrival of thousands of Americans in Tallahassee. In fact, our annual home-to-home festivities attract the largest gatherings in the region and bring an annual economic influence of $2 million. Tallahassee there is excitement in either and in any case there is an occasion in Bragg.

These unprecedented times have reminded us of bragg Stadium’s position as a true netpainting resource. When the pandemic wreaked havoc, Bragg was the site of 2 primary food distribution events. In addition, Bragg Stadium hosts the region’s largest nine largest COVID-1 control site, which has served more than 20,000 Americans since April 25. Bragg Stadium is used to produce an indispensable service for our network pains and could continue with the requested investment.

I am my best friend, thanks to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Blueprint Intergovernmental Intellectual Agency, City Commissioner Elaine Bryant and Vice President, Commissioner Jimbo Jackson County, and The Mayor and a City and County Commissioner. I would also like to acknowledge the valuable help of City Manager Reese Goad, City Assistant Manager Wayne Tedder, County Administrator Vince Long, County Deputy Administrator Alan Rosenzweig and the Blueprint AI team.

As the discussion continues, his perspective on the influence of this position on Tallahassee is appreciated. Bragg Memorial Stadium is a valuable netpainting resource and major economic drivers in the south aspect of Tallahassee. A renaissance for Bragg is a renaissance for the South aspect.

Larry Robinson, Ph.D., is the 12th president of Florida A&M University.
