(Reuters) – Amazon.com Inc. announced on Wednesday a buyer’s website in Saudi Arabia, showing its persistent business interests in the field despite a public dispute between Riyadh and the company’s executive leader, Jeff Bezos.
The website is a new pass for Saudi consumers of Souq.com, a form of Middle Eastern e-commerce that Amazon acquired in 2017. The account enrollment of buyers’ account with Souq is transferred to the Internet address, amazon.sa, Amazon said on the site. . The combined apple also changed The Souq’s website in the United Arab Emirates to a reputable portal, amazon.ae, last year.
News reports indicate that a clash between Bezos and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salguy has not derailed Amazon’s investment plans for the kingdom. In a press release, Amazon said it designed an opescore netpain that would cover the country and that its footprint in one position includes 1 to four wineries, a painting force of more than 1,4,000 more Americans, and a strategic delivery in Saudi Arabia.
