If you own a previous iPhone, you are entitled to about $2 five for each device as a component of an elegant action agreement forwarded through Apple.
Apple admitted beyond this year that its best friend blocked the older iPhone processor without informing customers. The $500 million deal will have to be paid to older iPhone owners who have experienced previous speeds slower than the previous ones and a closed battery.
Payments apply to iPhones:
SE iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, and iPhone SE devices must have run iOS 10.2.1 or later until December 21, 2017 The iPhone 7 or 7 Plus must have run iOS 11.2 or later until December 21, 2017.
Requests are made online or by mail. You can visit this website to file your claim.
Be prepared for the phone’s gender and serial number under “Settings” under “General/ About”.
Once you have filed your claim, you can make a direct selection to deposit your $2 five into your bank account. You will look to produce a bank account number and a routing number. Or, you may be able to request a check to be made on yourself.
You can submit multiple claims if you have more than one phone.
