Bergen County will end its cellular testing program, which brought a COVID-1 and antiframe test center to cities by truck, while the state experienced the worst of the coronavirus pandemic.
“In the last two weeks, the numbers have dropped slightly and now the curve is flat, we’ll see how we do it and if there’s an increase, we’re going to redeploy,” said county spokesman Derek Sands.
Initial plans for the cell site were expected to last until July, and the truck visited one and the county city, two who declined service, Sands said.
“We’ll give all the staff a break that takes position day by day in exhausting heat,” he added.
But the county hopes residents continue to get tested at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and pharmacies.
Once the cell verification site completes its last two days early next week, the county will post “a snapshot” of the full variety of checks, positivity rates.

Both tests for COVID-1nine and its antibodies are available, the anti-mosquito tests are limited to two hundred citizens, either one day.

Pre-registration is never very mandatory and all sites are open to Apple County residents. Health staff and primary lifeguards are also evaluated in a daily foundation delivery at 9:00 a.m. The tests are open to everyone from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Residents are asked to bring ID and proof of address.
