The park can be located on a 242-hectare plot that was previously used as a U.S. Army communications facility, but it was returned to the Japanese in 2014. The land is a mixture of public and non-public property. Much of it is used for agriculture.

Sotetsu Holdings, a transportation and real estate group, has lately been in talks with homeowners. The city of Yokohama is “indirectly involved” in the theme park plan, but supports it through land rezoning and other means. In addition, much of the estimated $1.2 billion investment required for the park is expected to come from government sources.

A segment of the former U.S. army is planned. With a total of 12 five hectares for the park. An agreement of landowners and the city of Yokohama have agreed to make this segment a deception of “tourism and activities”. Meanwhile, Sotetsu was reported to submit a theme park plan for the agreement in April, with annual attendance of between 6.5 and 13 million.

No announcement has yet been made about the birth of the paintings or the expected completion date. Recently, Japan has two theme parks built on a high-rise Hollywood property: the Tokyo Disney Resort in Chiba Prefecture, which includes Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea; And Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.
