LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A framework was discovered in which the government was seeking the lack of “Glee” actress Naya Rivera, announced Monday’s Twitter from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office in California.

Authorities said last week that they suspected Rivera had drowned after renting a boat on Lake Piru, near Los Angeles, with his four-year-old son, Josey, who discovered unharmed.

Rivera’s son, who discovered alone and sleeping on a boat adrift wednesday, told the government that he and his mother went swimming but that his mother never returned. Piru Lake is a recreational reservoir about 50 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.

The sheriff said he’d hold a press conference on Monday afternoon.

“Glee,” a television musical drama about a high school choir, was one of the biggest pop culture hits 10 years ago but has seen its share of tragedy.

Actor Cory Monteith, who played football player Finn, died of a drug overdose in 2013, and Mark Salling, who played Puck, committed suicide in 2018 after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.
