(NASDAQ: CHKP), world’s leading providers of cybersecurity solutions, today launched its Mid-Year Cyber Attack Trends Report: 2020, which monitors how criminal, political and national actors have exploited the COVID-1nine pandemic and similar topics to target organizations in all sectors , adding governments, industry, fitness care, service providers, critical infrastructure and consumers.
Applicable phishing and malware attacks with COVID-1nine have increased significantly, from less than 5,000,000 a week in February to more than 200,000 a week at the end of April. In addition, in May and June, as countries began to ease the blockade, threat actors also intensified their non-COVID-1 exploits, leading to a 34% design across the foreign cyberattack bureaucracy in late June compared directly to March and April.
