PROVIDENCE, RI – A coronavirus check is now open at the Rhode Island Convention Center, re-marking the Rhode Island College check.
The site is in the garage of the building, allowing you to act even in bad weather.
Testing was completed Monday at the RIC and the Rhode Island Community College site will soon be removed, the Rhode Island Department of Health announced.
The conference center website is available by car. The access road from West Exreposition Street to Sabin Streets has been limited to the verification site and only to emergency cars. Due to the limited free space, trailers, recreational cars and other large cars cannot be accommodated.
Tests will be conducted by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to five p.m. nine a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. People with symptoms and some asymptomatic Americans may get tested at the site. People with symptoms are asked to call their number one health care provider for a test, while nearby Rhode Island residents with symptoms of symptoms, such as classroom workers, lifeguards, and gym employees, can schedule a net test. Tests will also be conducted for some citizens who have recently traveled on a position with h8 positivity rates.
Although the two college sites are closing, the new site will increase testing capacity. The CCRI and RIC sites could handle 600 tests per day, each, while the new site can handle 1,500 tests per day.
