Coronavirus: Riveraspect County will provide a deceptive pop-up check in Idyllwild on Tuesday

Residents of Idyllwild doleading can be checked for coronavirus at a Pine Cove pop-up verification site next week.

The Riveraspect County Department of Public Health’s cellular team will provide nine COVID-1 tests at the Mountain Resource Center, located at 25380 Franklin Dr., Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The cellular unit, which includes emergency medical technicians and paramedics, as well as members of the county’s nursing team, may be able to monitor between 150 and two hundred Americans plus the one-day event, according to county spokesman Brooke Federico. The test effects preference will be done in seven days, he said.

The tests are open to everyone at no cost, Federico said. The county will request that fitness insurance data receive a refund from insurance companies, he said, but those that do not arise with the facts or do not have insurance are eligible for the test.

While cell sites can accommodate patients without an appointment, it is strongly recommended that appointments be made for the test, Federico said. Those curious about booking a schedule deserve to call 800-945-6171 or visit www.rivcoph.org/coronavirus/testing.

This is the third time county fitness officials have conducted tests in the Idyllwild area, Federico said. 12 years ago he presented evidence at the Idyllwild Public Library and the Anza Community Hall on June 26 and 27.

The Idyllwild-Pine Cove area, in the San Jacinto Mountains, is home to 2,459 people. County officials reported 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and no virus-related deaths there as of Saturday.
