Shopping malls in the United Arab Emirates remain open despite “false reports” on their closure, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Sunday the official WAM news agency.
The UAE had already closed the purchase of shopping malls in the country, in line with its efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus, before reopening them to limited capacity.

According to the NCEMA, fake data is circulating on social media confirming that the United Arab Emirates buys shopping malls and shopping malls that have been closed for 2 weeks. Reports also indicate that restaurants can only get delivery services, WAM.
NCEMA denied the authenticity of the reports and said the spread of rumours and data was punishable by fines.
On June 18, Dubai lifted a ban on other Americans over the age of 60 and teenagers under the age of 12 to buy shopping malls, swimming pools, beaches, public parks, some cinemas and other public facilities.
