As New York City continues to establish itself in the slow reopening of New York City, artistic and cultural destinations have announced reopening dates.
The city is expected to move to Phase Four on Monday, allowing only places that offer low-threat indoor and outdoor art and entertainment to be reopened.
Here’s more than one who revels in plans announced to reopen in the next two weeks, adding the Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Expect limited capacity, advance reservations, and required masks.
The Empire State Building’s plan form is scheduled to reopen on July 20 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the first few weeks through timed tickets. Initial capacity can be reduced by more than 80% to just 500 visitors in the observatory’s 70,000 square feet at once, and well below the 25% capacity indicated in Phase 4. This policy will allow the separation of the group station of more than 18 feet.

The museum can be open five days a week, from Thursday to Monday, with advance defense protocols. CDC, state, and city requirements. Masks are mandatory and visitors are asked to maintain a social distance. The capatown of the gallery is controlled and the toiscorridor has occupancy limits. Guided tours, audio tours, meetings and other public systems are temporarily suspended. The Met Cloisters, located in Fort Tryon Park, New York, will be closed until September.
