Food distribution Thursday in Tiyan, Dededo

Residents prefer food products in Tiyan and Dededo on Thursday.

The Guam Department of Education, the State Agency for the Department of Agriculture’s Department of Agriculture’s Food Nutrition Service Emergency Food Assistance Program, will organize a DISTRIBUTION of TEFAP food products on Thursday.

Recipients will receive one bag of TEFAP food commodities and two Farmers to Families food boxes of fresh fruits or vegetables, regardless of household size.

Food products come with pieces such as new apples and oranges, pasta noodles and canned products such as spaghetti sauce, black beans, chickpeas, peaches, pears, salmon and tuna. A maximum of 3 vehicle-consistent families can be allowed to select products.

The distribution will take place Thursday from 6 a.m. to ten a.m. at Tiyan Upconsistent with Baseball Field and Dededo Farmer’s Market.

The products will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until stocks are out.

Distribution could end sooner if all products that are distributed before 10 a.m. Participants can only pick up one bag of food according to the day of distribution.

Each site will have a stock of other Americans who have collected several bags of products according to the day of distribution since June 25, and those on that list are eligible to achieve products. In addition, a letter of caution may be issued.

Participants are asked to adhere to the program guidelines:
