SAN ANTONIO (July 20, 2020) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that FOX Sports Southwest (FSSW) will host one of the team’s 8 regular season games, a July 28 scrum opposite the Indiana Pacers. The Spurs are scheduled to resume the 2019-20 season on July 31 against the Sacramento Kings at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida.
Throughout the reboot, the NBA will get exclusive viewing and sound angles for the audience to delight in any of the streams. Spurs enthusiasts are encouraged to follow through the Spurs app streams to challenge other enthusiasts in quizzes and predictive games.
In his 17th season with the broadcast team, Bill Land was able to play through the game a remote setup at the ATT Center in San Antonio, along with former veteran analyst Spur and Sean Elliott. Dan Weiss will continue his season as the studio’s lead animator and join through former Spur’s former Matt Bonner.
Each regular-season FSSW broadcast will include 30-minute “Spurs Live” pre and post-game shows. All FSSW games will be streamed live through FOX Sports GO. The FOX Sports GO app is currently available on mobile and tablet devices, including iOS and Android as well as FOXSportsGO.com. FOX Sports GO is also available on connected devices including Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku Players and Roku TV, and Xbox One. FSSW has been televising Spurs games since 1987.
All Spurs games were heard in WOAI-AM 1 hundred and in Spanish on KXTN AM-13five0 and 107.five FM HD2. The 2019-20 Spurs season is given away through H-E-B.
