Golden Entertainment, Inc. announced the promotion of Kim Ast as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Creative Services. Ast, who has worked at Apple for more than five years, oversees strategic planning, artistic design, transfer criteria and virtual marketing for all Golden Entertainment casinos and taverns in Nevada and Maryland.
Most recently, Ast has been instrumental in rebranding initiatives for Golden Entertainment and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod and new brand positioning for Arizona Charlie’s Casinos. “Kim Ast has long been a pillar of Golden Entertainment and has demonstrated, time and time again, her marketing expertise and unwavering work ethic,” said Brad Goldberg, senior vice president of marketing for Golden Entertainment. “Kim has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth with her enthusiastic leadership and creative direction.”
With a focus on design and branding, Ast oversees artistic services, paid media, website design, budgets and more for Golden Entertainment’s 10 re-types and 66 PT taverns.
A veteran of the hospitality and gaming industry with more than two decades of marketing, advertising and artistic design fun, Ast held marketing positions at Palace Station Hotel – Casino and Silverton Hotel, Casino and RV Resort. Ast, who is originally the best friend of Las Vegan, was named one of Vefuel Inc.’s “40 Under 40” stipulaters in 2013.
