The most youthful generation is more aware of the budget and knowledgeable of technology than any generation that has them in front of them, and according to new Airbnb studies, that has affected how Gen-Z’s plans and books. Gen-Z’s travelers seek preference to notice less known destinations and prioritize kitchen welfare reports on their itinerary.
The study found that Gen-Z travelers aim to travel to more nature-focused areas around the world, where they can disconnect from technology and enjoy more laid-back experiences like hiking and horseback riding, but where they can also connect with local culture more easily than your typical tourist hot spot.
Here are the most popular gen-z destinations this winter:
Porto Seguro is one of two Brazilian cities on the list. The coastal town boasts an incredible 90 kilometers of beaches and is also home to a colorful nightlife scene, making it easy to both relax and mingle with locals.
Second Brazilian destination on the list, Praia Grande is known for its bathroom stations and beaches with mature waves to surf.
The cultural capital of Australia has also earned a top spot on the bucket list of Gen-Z travelers. Younger travelers flock to Sydney for the laid-back pace of life, beautiful beaches, and excellent party scene.
Gen-Z travelers who do not need to spend too far pass to Orlando, Florida. Attractions like Walt Disney World Resort at chronic hour, Orlando shows that foreigners does not have to enjoy the relaxing vacation of the sun.
Located in Costa Blanca, the port city of Alicante has a popular position for travelers in Gen-Z through its cobbled streets, its colored buildings and its even more colorful nightlife. It is much more comfortable than the big cities of Spain and offers a slower speed of life.
History-hungry Gen-Z travelers are adding Munich to their bucket list. The German city boasts beautiful centuries-old buildings, dozens of museums, and the very healthy nightlife doesn’t hurt either.
Gen-Z travelers hop to Tokyo and head to Osaka for a more comfortable Japanese experience. The city is still home to about 3 million people, but it has more breathing than Tokyo. It’s also noted for its delicious street cuisine (try Takoyaki!).
Punta del Este is undoubtedly one of the maximum fantasy cities of Uruguay. It offers beautiful public beaches, friendly population and intelligent food, however, it will also locate a more exclusive nightlife than it would do in Montevideo Voisin.
Playa del Carmen is the only Mexican city to make the list. A short flight from the US, this resort city is famous for its beachfront and nightlife. It’s also quite popular for watersports like snorkeling and scuba diving.
Thailand has a very popular tourist destination in recent years, Bangkok racing the way. The animated city is loved through young travelers through its affordable and delicious kitchen, its active nightlife and its very good monuments.
