When the OCCRP released its 2017 investigation into a $2. 9 billion cash laundering scheme that we dubbed “Azerbaijani Laundromat,” many other people in Azerbaijan couldn’t read it. The country’s elites, fearing that their corrupt practices would be exposed, blocked our site in the hope that the news would not spread.

This is not the first time we have been blocked and it will not be the last. To make sure everyone can read our surveys, we’ve combined this advice on how to browse OCCRP content anonymously, no matter where you live.
