The feeling of social media Jenna Marbles has apologized for beyond offensive content and said she left YouTube after a decade on the platform.
Jenna Mourey, who takes on Jenna Marbles on her popular YouTube channel, graduated from Brighton High School and is the platform’s top personality with more than 20 million subscribers.
In a video posted Thursday, Mourey apologized for old content that drew criticism — including racist jokes and blackface — saying that she never meant to offend anyone.
Over the past decade, he has posted videos that were diatribes of unantestable friends or comic remarks on a wide variety of topics, adding “How to make other Americans think you’re beautiful.” The big apple in his videos is imbued with blasphemy.
In his video for lacheck, which was viewed more than 3.6 million times on Friday morning, he said he privatized the maximum of his previous content because he did not want videos posted online to continue offending others.
“I definitely did things that weren’t great … and I did my best to grow up to be an easier person,” he said.
Mourey, who was excited when she spoke, said she would “leave this channel for now.”
“I don’t know if that’s forever, I don’t know how long it’s going to be,” she said. “I just want to make sure that the things that I put into the world are not hurting anyone.”
