EDMONTON – The first day of interviews is scheduled.
The Edmonton Oilers conducted the first of the media interviews to close out the season. Many players and head coach Kris Knoblauch spoke to the media and revealed their thoughts on the recent playoffs.
Things opened up with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but then ended with the head coach. Knoblauch opened up his availability by talking about some of the injuries suffered by Oilers players (McDavid, Draisaitl and Evander Kane).

He began by talking about what ails McDavid: “With Connor, I’m not sure what the procedure is going to be and how serious it will be. I don’t have much information. “
From there he moved on to the other things that affect Draisaitl, “the playoff stuff, the ribs, the hands. “He was so bad that they didn’t know if he would play or not, “sometimes he was worse than others”. “There were games where they weren’t sure if I was going to play. But he fought and played very well in those games. “

McDavid and Draisaitl’s injuries were first reported through Oilersnation on Tuesday.
