An explosion injured five more people in the Russian city of Belgorod, its governor said.
Vyacheslav Gladkov said 30 houses and 10 cars were damaged, specifying the origin of the explosion.
The wounded were taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds to the head and face, he said.
He said it was “miraculous” that no one died in the incident.
Belgorod is close to the Ukrainian border, unlike the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine.
Photographs taken in Kharkiv, Ukraine, show firefighters battling a fire sparked by a Russian missile strike.

During a stopover in Kyiv, the Foreign Minister said that Ukraine has the right to use British weapons to hit targets in Russia and that it is up to Ukraine whether or not to do so.
“Guided by its own purely political objectives, adding opportunistic electoral considerations, the British government is pursuing a policy of escalation and geographical expansion of the army’s actions,” the Russian embassy said in a statement.

Russian officials refer to Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine as a special military operation.
Kyiv responded to earlier reports that Russia had placed Volodymyr Zelenskyy on a wanted list.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said this demonstrated the “desperation of the Russian state apparatus and propaganda, which no longer knows what to invent to get attention. “
A ministry official continued: “We want to remind everyone that, contrary to Russia’s dead announcements, the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant against Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for war crimes is genuine and enforceable in 123 countries. “

According to Bloomberg, the U. S. has proposed that it be reimbursed with providential gains from Russian assets frozen in Europe.
The U. S. is pushing G7 leaders — the leaders of the U. K. , Canada, Germany, Italy, France and Japan — to agree on the plan when they meet in June.
But talks have been complicated and a deal could take just months, Bloomberg reported, citing other people familiar with the matter.
The move comes after Washington last month approved a $61 billion primary relief package, which had been delayed for months by Republicans in the House of Representatives.
It will most likely be weeks before U. S. military aid reaches the front lines on a large scale, according to a U. S. think tank.
The Institute for the Study of War said Russian forces would take advantage of the delay to make “significant operational advances in key areas,” such as near Chassiv Yar and Avdiivka.
But if this progress were to be made, it would mean the collapse of Ukraine’s defenses, the ISW said.
Earlier in the day, we reported heavy fighting in the nearby villages of Avdiivka and Bakhmut, as well as in Chasiv Yar, west of Bakhmut.
A senior Ukrainian intelligence official said it was “probably a matter of time” before the fall of Chasiv Yar.

Around £498,000 (£396,000) of the budget earmarked for rebuilding a dilapidated suburb of Kyiv has “disappeared”, Ukraine’s state audit service said.
Borodyanka, once a city of 12,000 people, suffered great destruction in the first weeks of the Russian invasion.
The budget has since been spent on rebuilding the suburbs, but a council audit uncovered a significant discrepancy regarding plastic and steel windows, which were planned to be installed but never done.
Even greater losses were discovered when auditors discovered that some fabrics had been purchased and installed at costs above market price.
