Lonking and HEVI JV to bring more electrical appliances to US job sites

A new joint venture between Greenland Technologies and Chinese appliance manufacturer Lonking will see new electric cars evolve with the HEVI appliance logo and bring new battery-electric appliance solutions to workplaces across North America.

If you’ve never heard of Lonking, the company is one of the largest construction machinery brands in the world, with a turnover of several billion dollars. Through the new joint venture with the Greenlandic HEVI logo, the company hopes that its new BEV construction device will locate a less difficult place on its way to the North American market.

“We are proud to partner with HEVI to usher in a new era of electric heavy machinery,” added Will Wan, Lonking’s regional director in NA. “HEVI has established itself as one of the leading suppliers of heavy electrical appliances in the U. S. market. specializing in sustainable responses for commercial applications. By combining our expertise, we aim to deliver cutting-edge answers that not only meet our customers’ desires, but also contribute to a sustainable future.

The two companies hope their collaboration will help them meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly responses in the U. S. appliance market. The U. S. Department of Agriculture and Agriculture is driven by ESG and decarbonization goals of companies and municipalities, as well as strict emissions and noise regulations.

HEVI’s electric wheel chargers are already in service at prestigious locations such as the Port of Baltimore, which was the busiest vehicle handling port in the United States in 2022. This charger, the GEL-5000 (shown in the images below), is said to have delivered the same force as diesel chargers thanks to a 242 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery provided via CATL, which can last up to nine hours of uninterrupted operation and can be charged in two hours with a DC fast charger. and a 220V charger takes thirteen hours. HEVI also makes portable EV chargers for its heavy-duty electric vehicles, and its CEO, Raymond Wang, says the company makes “the world’s only non-stationary DC chargers. “

This is great news for HEVI fans as the logo will expand its diversity with Lonking’s modern and modern electric excavators, forklifts, rollers and skid steers, which will hit the market as soon as possible.

By switching to electric machines, fleets reduce their carbon emissions, improve operational efficiency, and supply operators with state-of-the-art generation to improve productivity and performance, while reducing the overall ownership and maintenance burden.
