Lovevacations warning: strong consumers targeted through scammers for fake refunds

Thousands of Britons have flocked to airlines and agencies to request refunds.

However, some corporations have taken longer than the same to re-generate the procedure after flooding the pandemic.

The government now allows the British to visit a population of countries without being subject to quarantine regulations when they return to England.

The countries on the list come with Spain, France and Italy.

Scammers asked consumers to love the vacation they were looking for to re-evaluate their bank details.

“Warning: fraudulently calling people pose as lovevacation staff,” the holiday partner said on her official Facebok page.

“He has hinted to us that callers who call false posing as Lovevacations Representatives have addressed our consumers and asked them to produce important things from the bank and pay a refund processing payment of 2 five euros.”

“They don’t look like valid calls: never ask for important things from the bank over the phone or ask you to pay a refund fee.

“If you get a lot of those calls, get your touch data and report this fraudulent call to the police.

“Please, our FAQs for more information.

“This includes your booking reference, details, payment or billing information.”

The post has been shared more than 1000 times and has received more than 2,000 reviews from concerned travellers.

A spokesman for lovevacations told Express.co.united Kingdom that they were very familiar with the scam of social media and customers.

One spokesman said: “We have become familiar with this scam on social media and more than one consumer who told us that they had won fraudulent calls.

“We have warned consumers to be cautious with their non-public data on social media, as we prefer that they are not the victims of a scammer’s resolution.”

“We reported this to Action Fraud and anticipate that consumers who get those calls as well.”
