Martin Lewis says he continued to paint after selling his website for 86 million pounds because he felt “guilty of returning” and the concept of “luck” was an important component of his success.
Manchester’s 48-year-old money-saving expert has announced the site since its demonstration in 200 and reportedly pocketed no less than 3 million pounds after selling the platshape to MoneySupermarket.com in 2012.
However, speaking on the Full Disclobound podcast with James O’Brien, Martin explained that the website always made millions a year and was tired of the limits of being a boss, insisting that wealth is not “what motivates him.”
He explained that he was asked how he replaced his life after fitting in “rich overnight,” but that he will have to recognize that being “lucky” is a great component of his wealth and success.
