It’s been a week jam-packed with real news, but this moment when the mic is dropped officially takes the cake. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has officially joined Instagram with the launch of her logo on the new lifestyle site, American Riviera Orchard.
Debate over whether or not Meghan would return to her Tig roots raged for years after she officially stepped down as a senior member of the royal circle of relatives in March 2020.
American Riviera Orchard
The name of its new lifestyle site appears to be a nod to Santa Barbara, which has long been dubbed the “American Riviera,” according to Travel.
The Instagram post is accompanied by a reel posted on Instagram Stories that resembles Nancy Meyers’ – Meghan herself is photographed cooking in a kitchen, and while the video is grainy and small, it also appears to show the Duchess dressed all in a black suit. dressed in what is probably a fabulous position to go.
As far as site content is concerned, the site has lately been invited to sign up for the waitlist, which advertises the opportunity to be the first to know about American Riviera Orchard’s products, availability, and updates. Sound familiar? The newsroom recalls Meghan’s years running her own lifestyle blog, the Tig. (Meghan ran the site, named after her favorite full-bodied red wine, Tignanello, from 2014 to 2017, when she closed it ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. )
The release date is also significant: Four years ago today, on March 14, 2020, Meghan and Harry left Canada for what they dubbed their “free flight” to Los Angeles in their Netflix documentary series, Harry.
More questions: Will American Riviera Orchard be the Tig 2. 0? Will Meghan send normal messages to our inbox?Give Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop a chance? Either way, we can’t wait to find out.
