Mike Tindall made room in one of the comments while talking about his wife Zara Tindall’s recent 43rd birthday.
On Friday, Mike appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about his wife, who is the daughter of Princess Anne, and their charity golf tournament of the same name, the Mike Tindall Celebrity Golf Classic.
“She helps me keep telling me she’s 34, so I think you got the wrong numbers,” he joked in reaction to the show’s hosts who asked them how they spent the day.
Zara’s birthday was May 15, and according to Mike, the Olympian started her “beautiful day” with a horseback ride.
“Then we went out for lunch, then we spent time together all day, and in the evening we invited some friends over for dinner. It was a very, very lovely day,” said Mike, a retired professional rugby player. “That’s probably why I had a quieter evening last night because I might have had some the night before. “
The Tindals, parents of three, have never been afraid to have a laugh in their lives and in their interviews. Last year, Mike admitted to having “a little date night” the night before King Charles III’s coronation, staying outdoors. until 2 a. m. the night before the ceremony. For her part, Zara seemed to have had a hard time staying awake during the event.
“Don’t worry about what’s going to happen tomorrow,” he said of the previous match. “Enjoy the moment and then you can take care of the next day. “
Joking aside from the confusion of his birthday, Mike took to social media on Friday and posted a photo of himself and Zara at the charity tournament, which raises money for organizations similar to Parkinson’s disease. Mike’s father was diagnosed with the disease in 2003.

Mike, dressed head-to-toe in hot pink, has his arm around an equally sporty (though less pink) Zara in the photo. They both hold golf clubs and smile at each other.
“In the end I convinced Zara to stop practicing her putting and take a picture with me!” she captioned the photo.
