New plans for Milford’s iconic old restaurant

MILFORD, CT – Livio Faustini is seeking approval of the city’s plans and zoning council to build a restaurant/banquet design on 72 Broadway, according to plans submitted to the city.

The applicant proposes to raze the existing 12,204 square foot, 12,204-square-foot design weighing 11.25 nine square feet and build a two-story, 12,203-square-foot design weighing 8,20 nine square feet. A 2,016-square-foot courtyard that releases the similar size, plans archived with the city.

“The newly proposed design can be built on the footprint of the existing design. Five existing parking spaces along Ann Street, in addition to the proposed landscaping area, are located in the right of public passage and may require the approval of the City of Milford,” according to the documents. “Parking along the sidewalk on Naugatuck Avenue should be separated from the sidewalk according to segment five. 14.6. approval of the right of the good prior to the issuance of a zoning permit.”

The app may be stubborn at 7 p.m. Monday, July 20th and here are the main things to participate in.

The site is the former gastronomic position of Costa Azzurra, which closed its doors in August 201, nine years after the death of Sebastiano “Benny” Faustini, 54. in business for 47 years.
