While Dutchess County citizens can vote in the New York primary today, the electorate expects the full results.
According to Beth Soto, commissioner of the Office of Democratic Elections, who said under the law that more than 15,000 absentees who arrived on Monday can’t be counted until June 30.
A member of Apple’s party, legal to vote in one of today’s primaries, has been allowed to vote by mail, thanks to changes made to continue the safety of friends amid the coronavirus pandemic. Those who decide to vote on the user will also find greater efforts to protect security, Soto said.
The state Board of Elections must check if absentee voters cast their ballots elsewhere in the state.
“If they voted elsewhere, we can’t count their absentees,” Soto said. “And this aud must have been on June 30”
Election 2020: Yes, there is an advantage on June 23. Here’s what he likes to know
Early voting for New Yor primary
Aleven, although the full effects do not seem immediately available, early return numbers can be posted on the Dutchess Board of Elections website at 9:0 five p.m., Soto said.
Polling stations will be open for user voting today from 6 a.m. to nine p.m. The face-to-face voting tok will be located from 13 to 21 June at Fishk City Hall and Poughkeepsie City Police Community Hall.
Soto said the electorate in users can expect to be in place.
All polling stations in Dutchess County have been completely eliminated through a professional company, he said. There may be hands-free disinfection stations for the electorate upon arrival, and all electorates wear a mask.
People with fitness disorders who cannot wear a mask deserve to refer to election staff and wait until there is another person at the polling place before voting.
Gloves, pens and voting booths can also be provided in white and there may be six-foot social beacon floors.
Dutchess Republicans will vote for who opposes incumbent Democrat Antonio Delgado in the 19th District of Congress.
Instead, Democrats in districts 18 and 19 will be the ones who will make them the Democratic National Convention.
There are also Dutchess County judicial careers that would have to be through the independent and green party electorate, and a selection of the state committee will have to be done through the ninth judicial district of the Serve America Movement.
