On Jan. 22, posts on social media platform X alleged that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought afterward to extradite Dr. Anthony Fauci, the U. S. president’s medical leader from 2021 to 2022, to Russia as a component of a deal to prevent Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The posts did not provide any evidence to the claim.

The positions alleged that Putin sought to extradite Fauci, who played a vital role in the United States reaction to Covid-19 pandemic, because “crimes opposed to humanity. ” The statement also extended through the voice of the people, a disinformation exit are Adl-Tabatabai, who in the past directed the disinformation Internet sites for their news and newspapers.
The complaint was false. If Putin had made such a request, the reliable resources of data in Russia or the United States would have informed. It had not happened. If Russia sought to extradite Fauci, it probably deserves to register an opinion of the red flag with Interpol. This had not happened either.
Even if the complaint came here from a reliable source of information, there is a primary impediment on the road: the United States and Russia do not have extradition remedies between them. According to the United States Ministry of Justice, the United States is not extra-treatment.
