On the hurricanes website, Trump considers the AX crisis agency

President Donald Trump went to North Carolina before proceeding to California on Friday to other people affected through hurricanes and forest fires.

The visits are Trump’s first trips outside the Washington, D. C. , gates as he brought his moment as president to the workplace.

Trump sharply criticized California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other officials for the reaction to wildfires that have caused widespread devastation this month.

However, as the couple met in the asphalt in California, Trump played one more note, saying: “I appreciate the governor who comes out and gathered me. “

He pledged to “get it fixed,” adding: “The way you get it completed is to work together with the governor of the state, and we’re going to get it completed. They’re going to need a lot of federal help.”

Trump was among those who spread numerous false or misleading claims on the wildfires in Los Angeles, many of which went viral after Elon Musk reposted them on his social media platform X.

Among those statements, Newsom refused to supply water from the northern part of the state to fight fires to an endangered species of fish called Lelt.

Newsom said there is no link between fish and fireplace and that it had not maintained the water in northern California to combat chimneys in the south of the state.

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, Trump threatened to retain help in California and continued to blame state water control policies to obtain worse fires.

“I don’t think I give anything in California until they leave the water,” Trump said in an interview with Sean Hannity on Wednesday.

Since they exploded, the chimneys have killed another 28 people and have broken or destroyed approximately 16,000 structures, the government said.

Trump also accused Biden Management of not doing enough to the west of Northern Carolina in the recovery efforts since Hurricane Helene started the region in September.

The Biden administration has dismissed the allegations as misinformation.

Unlike their comments regarding the assistance of other people affected through fires in California, Trump promised before the elections that would reduce administrative formalities and provide federal in the reconstruction of devastated houses through Hurricane Helene.

But after arriving in North Carolina, Trump questioned the federal government’s role in the disaster emergency.

“I will also direct an executive order to begin the fundamental reform and review procedure of FEMA, or get rid of FEMA,” Trump told reporters, referring to the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

He added that he would like to see the states “deal with disasters” and that he would look “for” the total concept “of FEMA.

“Let the state take care of the tornadoes and the hurricanes and all of the other things that happen,” Trump told reporters.
