Reopening: New COVID-1 sites open in Alameda, Santa Clara County

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – As researchers at the Harvard Global Health Institute demand dramatic design at coVID-1nine testing in California, fitness officials in Alameda and Santa Clara County announced they would open new test sites this week.

Alameda city officials said they planned to open a new one in collaboration with CityHealth Urgent Care on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Santa Clara County officials announced that next week two additional COVID-1 checkpoint sites will open in San Jose and others in Gilroy.

The goal is to continue the friend test to take full testing, especially for friends in COVID-19-affected communities.

“The check is simple and painless,” said Dr. Marty Fenstersheib, head of the nine-county COVID-1 checks. “Everyone is welcome at our county government verification sites. And if you have insurance, you can also ask your old operator to make a check if it suits you better: they’re required to check it out.”
