Rough Industry Under to open in the spring, joining existing store in Midtown Manhattan
Rough Trade announced that they opened a new branch to the New York Rockller Center, which will be appointed rough trade below.
It will be the time for hard trading at the Midtown Manhattan location and will be founded on the track level, directly across from the 47-50th-50th ST-Rockefeller Center subway station.
Sites to open in spring, the store will come with new and used vinyl records, new and used CDs, artist items, audio equipment, Blu-ray and more, and will also reproduce normal functionalities and appearances in the store.
Rough business co-owner Stephen Godfroy said: “We’re incredibly excited to open a raw business this spring, helping us to fulfil the massive call of music lovers across the five boroughs and beyond. “
Our existing store remains, while our new store will rise and expand the vinyl offer, merchandise and much more.

Rough Trade’s other New York location opened in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 2013, New York’s largest record store, before moving to 30 Rockefeller Plaza in 2021.
The retail chain was founded through Geoff Travis in Ladbroke Grove, West London, in 1976. Then, he created the record label of the same called in 1978, the two separate entities 4 years later.
Rough Trade recently has several retail points in London, adding one on the old street of Tin Pan that opened in October, as well as bases in Nottingham and Liverpool.
