Ukraine on Sunday introduced a ferocious wave of drone attacks across Russia, oil refineries and Crimea.
In recent weeks, Zelensky’s forces have carried out repeated opposing aerial bombardments of strategic commercial sites in Russia, causing devastation and damage.
The aim appears to be to disrupt weapons and fuel for Putin’s army in Ukraine.
A major fire broke out again at the Ryazan Oil Refinery after it was attacked for the second time in two days.
The refinery is one of the largest in Russia, with a capacity to process 17 million metric tonnes of oil per year.

Emergency services had just managed to extinguish a previous fire after drones hit the depot on Friday.
Images posted on social media and verified via the Astra Telegram channel show a large ball of flames emerging over the refinery.
Later, the Ukrainian military proved that it had the oil depot in an official press release.
“Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine repeatedly hit the facilities of the Ryazan Oil Refining Company, involved in supporting the Russian occupation army,” they said.

“In the morning, the firearms of the Black Sea fleet, of service in the northwest of the Black Sea, destroyed two unmanned boats that were heading to the Crimean Peninsula,” they said.
It comes amid reports that Putin’s airforce dropped a 250-kilogram bomb on one of its own villages in the Belgorod region.
The Telegram Channel Astra has calculated that overall, Russian warplanes have dropped at least 165 mega-bombs on their own villages and towns.
