Since following the progress of Damen Yachting’s 2-foot-5-meter-long Expedition Yacht, I’ve seen a mock-up of the design and talked to Rob McCallum about EYOS expeditions at the 201five Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, I feel like it’s been acircular for years. But the fact is that the luxury shipping yacht Rob helped define doesn’t have an equivalent shipping yacht, LA DATCHA in the Netherlands this week. And this highly anticipated superyacht official friend delivered to his flamboyant new owner, Russian bank billionaire Oleg Tinkov, until the end of the summer.
But Tinkov has an announced position that LA DATCHA will embark on an ambitious global charter direction that is expected to come with heli-ski in Kamchatka, the Kuril Islands and diving adventures in the Papua New Guinea almaximum once it is delivered. And since LA DATCHA has been designed to produce up to twelve visitors with cultural superyacht interiors created through architect Vasiliy Shprits with the rest of the living room and living room, the very giant Beither One Club with sauna, steam room, massages and gym at your disposal.
A giant team can be on board to interpret the wide variety of toys, aircraft, supplies and equipment and the exploratory nature of all charters. And because the yacht can almost pass anywhere on Earth, LA DATCHA is, by definition, the maximum rental yacht requested this year.
It features naval architecture through Damen Yachting’s internal design team and external lines through Azure Yacht Design. The main features on board come with dual helipads, with a currently qualified senior helipad and a rescue deck for a moment helicopter and a hangar under the deck that would accommodate any of the helicopters for safe storage. THE DATCHA also comes with full-board refueling, independent systems and a bow living room that offers exclusive 270-degree front prospects, plus icebreaker captures with a helmet compatible with the IMO’s polar code.
The SeaXplorer 77 is rented under the LA DATCHA Tinkoff Collection. Before his first charter in the Mediterranean in October towards the Indian Ocean for the winter of the 2020/2021 charter season, the world premiere of LA DATCHA charter may be on the occasion Amels and Damen Yachting Private View, which will take place in Vlissingen in the Damen Yachting garden in the south of the Netherlands from 17 to 1 September. During this exclusive invitation occasion, rented and newly built visitors will appreciate the first look.
I hope to be invited! And I will make a percentage of all my privileged with your unwavering readers if I do! Stay tuned.

During my beyond life as an editor in several American yacht magazines, I threatened to travel thousands of miles offshore on a wide variety of boats. My paintings as complacent scribe have taken me on adventures from the Arctic Circle to the equator, and to virtually one or any tropical destination in the middle. I have avoided high-speed hydrofoils in the brown waters of St. Petersburg, Russia, anchored in incredibly blue waters of the uninhabited islands of the Seychelles, Scandinavia, the British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas, or the flight station flew in a Jayhawk helicopter with the United States. Coast Guard on a school mission. These days, when I don’t travel or write about the magic that happens at the confluence of superyachts, adventure on the high seas, luxury travel and technology, I sail my ultra undeniable and super-fast boat, in my stunning carbon and gloriously beloved fiber bike, and push our son into a children’s pram across New England.
