Russian hackers are targeting organisations interested in the design of the COVID-1nine vaccine, an alert issued Thursday through the UK-based National CyberSecurity Centre.
The organization detailed the activities of the threat organization known as APT29, which operated foreign organizations and is related to interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
APT29’s “campaign of malicious activity is ongoing, predominantly against government, diplomatic, think-tank, healthcare, and energy targets to steal valuable intellectual property,” said the alert.
