Diddy’s lawyer had previously issued a brief denouncing the raid.
“Yesterday there was an exaggerated use of military force when warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ home. There is no excuse for the exaggerated display of force and hostility shown by the government or for the way its youth and workers were treated. ” Mr. Combs was never arrested, but he spoke out and cooperated with the government. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any member of his family circle have been arrested and their ability to do so has not been limited in any way,” said Aaron Dyer.
“This unprecedented ambush – coupled with a complex and coordinated media presence – leads to an unwelcome race to an opposing trial of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on baseless allegations made in civil trials. There have been no findings of criminal or criminal prosecutions. Of those allegations, Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight day after day to clear his name. “
