U. S. stocks rose on Tuesday morning, putting markets on track for a day to end a year of stellar gains.
The slight rally reversed a three-day losing streak that weighed on markets amid growing uncertainty over 2025. Questions about interest rates, government policy and the sustainability of the tech rally have created headwinds for stocks in what is traditionally a strong era for the market between Christmas and the first business days of the new year.
