The U. S. team The U. S. continues its preparation for a fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal with a series of exhibition matches opposed to other contenders before arriving in Paris.
On Wednesday, the American team defeated Serbia 105-79 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, thanks to the remarkable play of Stephen Curry, who finished with 24 points. Bam Adebayo contributed 17 points, adding 3 from 3-point range.
It’s Team USA’s third straight win, after beating Australia 98-92 on Monday at the Emirates Arena and beating Canada 86-72 in Las Vegas last week.
He now heads to London for two more exhibition matches, unlike South Sudan and Germany.
For the Olympics, Team USALille will play three Group C matches in Lille on July 28 (Serbia), July 31 (South Sudan) and Aug. 3 (Puerto Rico). The round of 16 will then move to Paris with the quarter-finals (6 August), semi-finals (8 August) and gold medal (10 August) at the Accor Arena.
