During the penultimate episode, the trio took charge of a challenging dessert challenge consisting of 113 stages.

Reynold, who had become a favourite to win the show after scoring immunity twice in the past fortnight, faltered at the final hurdle while trying to recreate three-hatted guest judge Martin Benn’s signature Toffee Apple dessert.

All participants had 3 hours and forty-five minutes to complete the complex dish, which included another 10 components.

During the preparations, Reynold let go after leaving his leaf decorations in the oven for too long and nearly burned his candy, insisting that he was surprised with his paintings by introducing him to the 4 judges.

Unfortunately, everyone agreed that their candy was too sweet, while Emelia and Laura were considered almost the best in terms of flavor, meaning Reynold was sent home.
