President Donald Trump announced that the United States had completed an industry agreement with China, the issue of the final approval of Chinese President Xi Jinping. A central detail of the agreement would come with the expansion of the United States. The agreement to rare Chinese land minerals, in exchange for concessions that allow more Chinese academics to integrate US universities and the export of delicate products to China.
Although all the main points of the agreement are still being carried out, the United States is private in negotiations. It seems that Beijing gives a concession that had already presented a month ago to raise the blockade in the expeditions of infrequent land minerals. The current agreement may be a short -term solution for a much greater long -term problem.
China’s domination is even superior in rare and strong land minerals, which is more critical for the production of defense equipment. Treat almost one hundred percent of heavy minerals in rare lands. At one time, Vietnam also had a safe capacity to treat that type of minerals, but its installation was closed in 2024 and is no longer operable.
Currently, the United States has a production capacity, and only has two national operating centers of rare lands located in the state of Georgia and Mountain Pass, California.

Trump’s announcement of an agreement would possibly mean that these export restrictions to rare land minerals have been reversed. But knowing how these minerals are for the national security of the United States, it does not ensure that China does not cancel this offering in the long term and will use its domination of rare lands to put the tension for an even more favorable agreement to its own conditions.
