The Dixie Chicks call ”The Chicks”

The Dixie Chicks are now known as The Chicks.

On Thursday, the trio of countries replaced their social media identifiers to @TheChicks, and their official now redirects to thechicks.com.

“We are here at this time,” a message posted on the site, signed through members Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines and Emily Strayer, reclassified.

They also released a new song, “March March”, with a full video of protest sequences over the years, while the names of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and dozens of others appear on the screen.

The resolution comes a month after Floyd’s death, prompting four weeks of protests and national talks on systemic racism.

This has also led giant apple organizations to return to the origins in their applicable names and images, adding Quaker Oats’ “Aunt Jemima” overpass and the “Splash Mountain” ride at Disney theme parks.

It may also include the peasant trio Lady Antebellum, who recently issued the verdict to transfer his call to Lady A, renouncing the term specifically used to describe America before the Civil War and “associations weighing that word,” adding ties to slavery.

This sparked a confrontation with Anita White, a Seattle black blues singer who played “Lady A” for 20 years, who said she had not contacted her. The two sides connected, and the trio of countries said they had reached “positive responses and common ground.”

The so-called “The Chicks” was used through a New Zealand rock duo in the 1960s. In a statement, Maines, Maguire and Strayer thanked the original “Chicks” for “their kind gesture in allowing us to make a percentage of their calls.”

The use of “Dixie” – and its agreement with the Confederate States – has been the subject of a new revision in recent weeks. The chicks’ old call is a play in “Dixie Chicken”, a song and an album through the rock band Little Feat.

Next month, The Chicks will release “Gaslighter”, their first album in 1 fourth year.

The trio’s career took a radical turn in 2003, after Maines criticized then-President George W. Bush and the approach to the war in Iraq. They had never been successful on the song, however, their next album, 2006, “Taking The Long Way”, was no. 1 and won the Grammy for album of the year.

In 2016, the trio announced again with their first excursion to the U.S. He titled in a decade and gave him the lok on Taylor Swift’s 201 album “Lover”. They launched the “Gaslighter” track beyond this year.

The Chicks the 1st reject artists to launch a “Dixie”. In 2018, Dolly Parton replaced her “Dixie Stampede” dinner call at Pigeon Forge with “Dolly Parton’s Stampede”.
