The free coronavirus verification pop-up in Galt fills up quickly

GALT (CBS13) – A giant coronavirus outbreak in a small town has fitness officials on alert and baffling resources.

The cars were parked outdoors at Walker Community Park before dawn, waiting to be examined for COVID-19.

“They say there is such bureaucracy from the verification sites. I call one and every day, day after day,” said Ortiz, a tiffabig apple.

The Apple Tiffabig and her husband Paul attended the pop-up check loose on Wednesday, so she can also be checked for the first time and he can do it for a moment, too.

“My husband had no symptoms,” she says.

The Tiffabig apple says it tested positive for coronavirus two weeks later and has been quarantined ever since. His wife gave it to him: they drive a diesel truck together. Ortiz says he never got sick, but he couldn’t work.

“I can’t work, ” said Paul. “But if I check two negative points, I go back to work.”

“We are partnering with the Sacramento County Department of Public Health. They monitor positivity rates in other spaces and we thought it was a fairly high positivity rate, and they sought to be bound for everyone here to get tested too,” Captain Serenity Holden said.

To turn symptoms into a test, you are over 18 years old and have a valid ID.

Capacity, however, limited. Less than an hour after opening, the doors were locked.

Health officials say they only check out a hundred kits from those sites.
