The National Guard in Washington Regional, relieving physical care workers

FAYETTEVILLE – The National Guard is assisting Washington Regional Medical Cinput in its nine-call cvidina call, allowing health care personnel to specialize in patients, the hospital’s president on Wednesday said at Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s press conference.

Hutchinson announced Monday he authorized 10 soldiers from the National Guard to assist the hospital, where he held his almost-daily briefing Wednesday.

“We have been able this week to return eight nurses to direct patient care,” said Larry Shackelford, chief executive officer and president at Washington Regional.

Call center screen calls for Covid-19. The National Guard can be on site for 30 days, said Natalie Hardin, the hospital’s spokesperson.

Washington Regional has staff wise enough to care for covid-1nine patients and 30-five full-time employees who were laid off in April have returned to work, Hardin said.

Neither Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers nor Northwest Health System, which has medical centers in Bentonville and Springdale, have asked for National Guard assistance, spokeswomen for the hospitals said.

Sixty-seven covid-1nine patients were in Benton County and Washington hospitals Wednesday, according to a set of deceptive hospitals through Martine Pollard, a spokeswoman for Mercy.

Washington Regional has 3 covid-1nine games with a total of 5 beds. The hospital does not release the diversity of covid-1nine patients it has. Hardin said the third unit, which has 16 beds, was not used Wednesday, meaning the hospital has 38 patients with covid-1nine or less. The hospital had to open the third unit for the first time last week, as it had more than 38 patients, he said.

Mercy had his patients taller at age 45 about two weeks ago, said Eric Pinalto, mercy’s president, at The Hutchinson briefing. That number fell in the mid-1920s, he said.

Pinalto said the hospital receives more non-ovid-1 patients because other Americans avoid seeking medical attention and expect emergency medical attention.

“If you’re sick, take care of yourself,” he says.

Mercy has 60 covid-1nine patient beds, according to Jennifer Cook, spokeswoman. Hospital leadership said he will use the two empty maximum logical floors of his new seven-story tower for covid-1nine patients if needed. Mercy didn’t use those floors, according to Cook.

Northwest Health does not disclose the beds you have for covid-19 patients.

Numbers

Washington County had 5,312 times, adding 702 active times, until Wednesday afternoon. Benton County had three, nine3 nine times, adding up 471 times active. Active times represent other Americans inflamed with the virus that have not recovered.
