TheWrap has won 1 nominations for the L.A.Press Club Southern California Journalism Awards, adding the most productive website for online-only news, the organization announced Monday.

The founder and editor-in-chief of TheWrap, Sharon Waxman, has earned 3 nominations, for Entertainment Journalist of the Year, Best Individual Blog (“The Decade When Hollywood Cracked Open-Praise of the 2010s”) and for Best Cinematic Entertainment News for a story with film and business journalist Trey Williams, “Indie STX Entertainment seeks cash or a buyer after a series of BoxOffice failures”.
