If you’ve been searching from your window because of the birth of self-isolation, you’re probably tired of your eyesight now. Well, once there are new landscapes to appreciate without traveling anywhere, a new site allows you to look through other people’s windows around the world.

Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam created Window Swap as a “quarantine project”, according to the website. “Window Swap is here to fill this deep void in our travel-hungry hearts by allowing us to look out of someone else’s window, somewhere in the world, for a while,” the website says. “A position on the Internet where all our travel-hungry fools make percentages of our “window views” to support us to feel a little bigger until we become able to (responsibly) explore our adorable planet again.”

To view the view from other people’s windows, simply click the “Open a new window somewhere in the world” button. When you click on it, a video from someone’s window fills your entire page. The maximum logical left corner of the screen indicates who owns the window, and the maximum logical right corner indicates the location. When you are ready to look through another window, press the small white arrow toward the circle of the page. From trees swaying smoothly in Finland to traffic moving along a street in Turkey, there are large numbers of new sites to enjoy.

Do you want other Americans to see the view from your window? Every window is welcome. Smean sends a 10-minute horizontal HD video from your window and frame to [email protected]. Don’t come with your first call and location to get credits. Also note that the videos on the site have sound. So, if you don’t have sound, let them know or just record without sound.

In short … I’m going to take a little tour of the virtual virtual world during my lunch.
