RALEIGH, N. C. (WTV) – Are you making plans for this summer? When you book car rentals and hotels for ForeignArray, you may be paying more because of where you live.
NordVPN’s Gerald Kasulis claims that third-party internet sites and car and hotel websites may be offering dynamic pricing.
“They use that formula to their advantage, and the purchasing power of consumers in the U. S. is greater. As a result, they get away with overcharging U. S. consumers compared to their European counterparts, for example. “
Kasulis talks about when travelers in the U. S. use U. S. booking websites instead of employing a virtual personal network, also known as a VPN.

NordVPN is a cybersecurity company. He studied the differences in value according to the place of purchase. The company’s studies showed that U. S. consumers paid up to 70% more through U. S. Internet sites than travelers who used IP addresses outside the U. S.
“We did a lot more research, and in some cases we even found that renting a car in the UK costs around $500 less. So almost some of the value it would have been worth if I had booked with a local IP address,” Kasulis said.
Here’s how to see if you can afford to save money.
First, get the base value of the foreigner you want to book. Then, clear your browsing history and cookies. Then turn on a VPN, which hides your IP address, and choose the location you want to book. Enter your same dates for the car rental or hotel and compare the value they offer you using a VPN with your US IP address. U. S.
NordVPN said that while searching for a hotel in Paris, the company stored $976 for a seven-night stay through a French online page instead of displaying the IP address in the U. S. U. S. and a U. S. online page. U. S.

“Our recommendation is to book something blindly. Try checking it out using a VPN to see if you can save money,” Kasulis said.
Problem solver Diane Wilson put it to the test and searched for a car rental in Iceland for a day on a U. S. website. U. S. He also did the same search with a VPN, and his location would show up in Iceland. Reportedly, the check stored around $70 for him through the VPN.
Wilson also tried it for a hotel in Paris, but couldn’t save up.
It doesn’t matter if your vacation is abroad or in the United States, it makes sense to clear your browsing history and cookies, as websites track your history and this can affect the price you pay for vacations.
