President Donald Trump denounced what he described as efforts for the United States hitale and malevolent heroes, attacking procheck symbols that claim to celebrate racial injustice as it sparked cultural wars opposed to hitale and education.
“Our country is witnessing a ruthless crusade to destroy our history, defame our heroes, erase our values, and indoctrinate our children,” Trump said Friday at an Independence Day birthday party in Mount Rushmore, South Dakota.

It is an extension of the president’s comments in recent weeks denouncing a motion to re-read about the racial record of ancient figures after the assassination of George Floyd, an unarmed black man, while in custody in Minneapolis. These efforts led to the removal of statues, adding Confederate generals and slave owners, public and non-public institutions.
Trump called the efforts a “left-wing cultural revolution” that he said was “designed to overthrow the American revolution.”
“They want to silence us,” he said. “But don’t be silenced.”
Trump, following the polls and facing a new complaint about his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, has stoked racial tensions, a tactic he has used to move the issue and attract his unwavering top supporters. The president sent tweets defaming the Black Lives Matter motion and the protesters opposed police brutality and opposed the conversion of the call to army bases that honor Confederate generals.

Guests accumulated at Mount Rushmore were not required to wear a mask or distance themselves from their best friend while the president searches for a competitive public calendar despite an increase in U.S. coronavirus cases. Friday’s demonstration featured an army overpass and included the first fireworks demonstration in more than a decade on the mountain carved through the faces of four U.S. presidents. Trump intervened at the request of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to rearrange an annual culture that was disrupted due to environmental disturbances and wildfires.

He said he would never allow the “desecration” of Mount Rushmore, which has sculptures by citizens George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. The president also said he would sign an executive order to create a statue park of “great Americans who have never lived.”
The occasion sparked protests from the Native American group play station that claims the 79-year-old Mount Rushmore monument is in an illegitimate land, the Sioux’s captured best friend.
Before Trump arrived at the monument by helicopter, about 15 protesters were arrested after blocking the main road to Mount Rushmore, according to the Associated Press.
More than a hundred protesters, local American mabig apple, covered the street that leads from Keystone, South Dakota, to the memorial, with symptoms and playing Lakota music in a 95-degree heat, the AP said.

White House aide Kellyanne Conway defended the event and said the state’s infection rate was relatively low, its hospital capacity was h8 and Rushmore’s site was “open.” By Thursday, the state had recorded fewer than one hundred coronavirus-like deaths during the pandemic and fewer than 1,000 known active cases.
“You’re out, it’s pretty big and airy,” Conway told reporters at the White House on Wednesday.
Trump’s journey came even when the memorial park’s quantities remained closed due to the pandemic, adding his journey in the middle or a half-mile trail that brings tourists to the memorial.
