Donald J. Trump posted on X on Monday morning, handing the victory to Elon Musk, the owner of the social media platform, who has been urging the former president to use his back for months.
“They need to silence me because I will never let them silence you,” Trump said in a campaign video posted on his account. “They come after me. They come after you.
Trump shared the video ahead of a scheduled interview with Musk, who was scheduled to take a stand on Spaces, a livestream feature on X, at 8 p. m. It’s Monday. He followed up with several messages, adding one that said: “Are you on a bigger stage now than when you were president? Our economy is broken. Our border has been erased. We are a country in decline.
