Trump revokes John Bolton’s Secret Service amid Iranian death threats (former national security adviser)

Bolton has faced threats from Iran for years, an alleged plot to assassinate him in 2021, and the Justice Department later charged a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps over the plot in 2022. Trump had removed Bolton from his first term. in 2019, and Biden had granted him a security detail in 2021.  

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House regarding Bolton’s claim, but did not immediately receive a reply. 

The U. S. is giving $20 million to Iran in a plot to attack Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton.

“The Department of Justice filed criminal charges against an Iranian Revolutionary Guard official in 2022 for attempting to hire a hitman to attack me. This risk persists today, as also demonstrated by the recent arrest of a user seeking to organize President Trump’s campaign “own murder. ” Bolton continued his statement. “Other Americans can judge for themselves which president made the right decision. ”

Iranian threats against Bolton were likely triggered by the January 2020 US strike that killed Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds Force, the Justice Department reported in 2022.  

Bolton served as Trump’s national security advisor between 2018 and 2019, before Trump ousted him because they “disagreed strongly” on policy issues. 

BIDEN SAYS Trump has no “redeeming value” and intends to crush him like an Iranian assassination threat.

“Last night I informed John Bolton that his people are no longer needed in the White House,” Trump tweeted in 2019. “I strongly disagree with many of his suggestions, as do other members of the administration, and that is why I asked John his resignation. , which was delivered to me this morning. I am very grateful to John for his service. Next week I will appoint a new national security advisor.

In the years that followed, Trump criticized Bolton several times, adding claims that he participated in “World War Six” and calling him “one of the stupidest people in the government” in 2023.

Bolton also criticized Trump, saying in a 2020 interview that Trump had “the skills to get the job done. ”
